Job Description:
Appalachian Brian Estates in Boone, NCis seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the RN Supervisor. As the Director of Nursing, you'll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership, guidance, and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. What you'll do
  • Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and center goals and objectives.
  • Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with the center's Director of Human Resources to recruit and onboard nursing staff.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
What you need
  • Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) North Carolina
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and patient care.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
