DResponsibilities of the RN Supervisor:
- Serve as liaison between the family, patients, doctors and other departments
- Oversee and manage nursing staff, LPNs and CNAs.
- Investigate all incident reports and follow-up
- Encourage all staff to adhere to the highest standard of care and conduct annual staff reviews
- Guide, advise, and educate nursing staff with clinical instructions
- Report nursing activity to senior management
- Supervise and support nursing staff
- Manage staff and assignments
Requirements of the Clinical RN Supervisor:
- Extensive clinical experience and RN Supervisor in acute or Long-Term Care
- Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration
- Leadership and mentorship
- Infection control
- Organizational and Multitasking skills
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Patient Safety focus
- Active applicable state licensure
- American Heart Association issued BLS
