Responsibilities of RN Unit Manager:
- Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit
- Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of the facility and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapist and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients in assigned nursing unit
- Direct resident care is required to include administering medications.
