Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of your nursing unit, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting evaluations and competency assessments.
  • Address and resolve clinical and administrative challenges, maintaining smooth operation of care delivery.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to set and achieve resident care goals.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to align unit operations with facility-wide objectives.
  • Keep families and physicians informed with regular resident status updates.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of each residents medical status and contribute to personalized treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, fostering strong relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
