Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Wound Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in medical/surgical nursing and wound and colostomy care License: RN License Certifications: Wound Care Certification, AHA BLS Certification Must-Have: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, Wound Care Certification Job Description: - Perform wound care consults, primarily in-office, with occasional travel required to clients' homes for assessments and treatment.- Provide expert wound and colostomy care management.- Engage in community outreach to educate and support patients in wound care practices.- Utilize excellent communication skills to coordinate patient care with healthcare teams and family members.- Maintain and document patient care records accurately.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve care strategies and outcomes.- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.- Serve as a certified home health registered nurse, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Languages: English proficiency required in reading, writing, and speaking.
