Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:00)Description: Will position float between units: No Is on-call required? Yes 1-2x per week Are weekends required? Yes on call only Are block schedules required? Unknown What areexpected ratios? 1:1 Special requirements: MUST BE ABLE TO SCRUB ALL CARDIAC CASES.An RNFA is a RN with additional certification to scrub in and actually first assist in a procedure. They can cut tissue and tie and suture and all those sorts of things that are outside a RN or STs scope of practice. They are usually RNs that have worked in the OR as a circulator or a scrub RN so theyre a little more versatile.
