DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will support the roadway program coordinator and county maintenance managers by offering technical services, providing materials, and carrying out various tasks to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include fiscal support tasks such as reconciling invoices, processing payments, and managing fund commitments. Additionally, you will assist the equipment manager with fuel reports and invoice reconciliations. You will also handle material support by preparing weekly spreadsheets of open purchase orders and current inventory, sharing this information with the county management team and maintenance staff. Your role will involve managing the storeroom, conducting monthly inventory checks, and organizing supplies for easy access. Furthermore, you will provide administrative support by creating spreadsheets for mapping and planning purposes using Graphing Information Planning tools.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment
* Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours may vary based on seasonal requirements.
* This position may require travel and overtime.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
* One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or
* One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
* An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
* Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
