THE POSITION
Grow your career today through work as a Roadway Programs Technician 2, which determines repair cost estimates based on the most likely quantities and method of repair upon inspection of damaged guiderails. Provides technical analysis and independent evaluation of the organization's maintenance work programs in accordance with established guidelines. More complex issues are referred to the Roadway Programs Coordinator, who also reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Under the supervision of the Roadway Programs Coordinator, the Roadway Programs Technician 2 will engage in technical activities related to the assessment, evaluation, and enhancement of Roadway Management. This work will be conducted in alignment with the established policies and procedures of the Roadway Maintenance System (RMS) as well as the Plant Maintenance-Highway and Material Systems within the Centre County Maintenance Organization.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment
* Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
* Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Centre County.
* Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
* One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1. or
* One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program. or
* Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
