Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Robot (FIP) Operator (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $24.53 plus .60 shift differential per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you'll do:As a FIP machine operator, you would be responsible for complete operation of the machine including loading parts into the machine, inspecting product, measuring dimensions of completed products and aligning machine parts. To be successful, you should be safety-focused and detail oriented.Take ownership of the FIP machine, its operation, and quality of all finished products.Prep stainless steel and aluminum parts for foam gasket application.Load and run parts through the FIP machine.Responsible for cleaning and inspection of FIP machine.Thorough knowledge of operation and adjustment of FIP machine.Write and load programs for applying foam gasket to parts.Operation must be continuously monitored. Must diagnose and correct issues independently.Maintain operator level maintenance of machine as required.Follow all safety and shut down procedures.Cross train others to operate machine.Must be able to use basic measurement devices, ie: calipers, tape measure, etc.Must complete required records daily.Maintain 5S.Keep inventory of necessary supplies.Work with Lead/Supervisor to set job schedule and prioritiesQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.Must have six (6) months machine operations; mechanically inclinedPreferred Qualifications:Detailed product knowledge.SAP experience is a plus.Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel)Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Forklift certification is a plus.Skills:Position Criteria:Excellent work ethic.
