You will support the installation, commissioning, and continued repair/service of robotic material distribution systems. You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot the robotic equipment at manufacturing or distribution locations.You will execute emergency and scheduled service calls as well as train junior technicians. You should be customer-driven as customer feedback is used heavily to rate your performance. The service of the equipment will be partly scheduled and unscheduled based on the situation.This is an awesome career for people who want to be part of industrial automation that is usually never given without prior experience. Only candidates with a strong personality and tremendous technical knowledge in electronics/electrical systems should apply.The role will have you based out of key locations where there are customers currently using the system. However, your skills will be needed nationally. Your travel will be nationwide and vary based on the project and situation. You should be comfortable with travel that could extend to 1-2 weeks at a time. So roughly 1-2 weeks at home and then roughly 1-2 weeks traveling.The company knows how important time is away from work so they will work with you for key situations and do everything they can do limit the amount of extended travel. The company also has an aggressive PTO policy that includes 3 weeks of vacation within your 1st year and an unlimited sick leave policy that does not impact your banked PTO.Compensation will be significant. Unlike other roles, you will receive overtime for your travel when over 40 hours of work, and will also receive other benefits that will be addressed in the interview process. Base salary, plus medical/dental/vision/401k/overtime. Unlimited sick PTO and 3 weeks of vacation.
