This position will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing robots and automated production systems. This position is a full-time, direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site. Job Requirements
- Robotic cell set up and changeover including program touch up, end-of-arm tooling adjustment, and fixture set-up and adjustment to achieve 1st piece approval.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and various measuring / testing devices related to robots, welding, and pneumatic / hydraulic fixtures and equipment.
- Assist in the design, configuration, or installation of robotic systems.
- Basic troubleshooting of automated processes including mechanical and electrical problem solving.
- Actively promote quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Read and comprehend documents such as work instructions, equipment manuals / diagrams, and part drawings. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Basic math skills and understanding of measurements such as distance, pressure, angles, and percentages. Ability to analyze data.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and climb a ladder.
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified robot training preferred
- Proficiency with Fanuc and ABB Robots
- Familiarity with resistance welding and laser cutting
