Our team is currently seeking a Roll-Off Driver to transport our latest products to our valued customers with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and punctuality. Compensation:

$21 - $23 hourly

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle in accordance with EcoSouth Company Safety Policy, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation) as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
• Report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to dispatch.
• Report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatch.
• Report service problems blocked containers, or any potential safety hazards.
• Report all containers damaged and in need of repair.
• Must attend and participate in all training and safety programs.
• Communicate with dispatch and supervisor to improve route production and communicate the best way to perform your duties.
• Communicate any customer requests with dispatch.
• Complete and submit work orders and driver logs as required.
• Deliver and return containers to the customer's property in a position that ensures the safe and proper operation of the container. Ensure driveway entrances, mailboxes, or other traffic thruways are not blocked.
• Must follow the route as assigned by dispatch and understand the customer's needs.
• Use time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years (s) of previous experience operating a CDL vehicle.
• Must have Roll-Off Experience.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial 'Driver's License with an air brake endorsement.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include a previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
