Looking for Roll-off and Front-load drivers for Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan counties
Requirements:
· Applicants must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
· All Drivers need a valid Class A or B CDL, airbrake endorsement, and a clean driving record.
· At least one year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL A or B within the last seven years. Experience as a Driver or Helper for a refuse company is highly preferred.
· The Driver position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and mounting and dismounting the truck multiple times on every route. One year of experience driving and operating a Roll-off Truck is a must.
Responsibilities:
· Professionally communicate with customers and dispatchers at all times, including when receiving complaints about schedules and service quality. Our Drivers must report and respond to complaints courteously and respectfully.
· Performing pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles using automatic DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); noting all issues on DVIR for corrective review/repair.
· Following tablet-formed routes.
· Early morning hours are required.
Salary Information:
· Salary starts with 63K-65K a year and accelerates based on experience and dedication
· 40 Hours Minimum plus overtime
· Direct deposit is offered.
