Your Key Responsibilities

* Accurately inspect a variety of parts and/or purchased material dimensionally and/or visually, including non-destructive testing methods to prescribed quality standards and procedures.

* Be proficient in the use of standard measuring gauge tools including mechanical, pneumatic, optical and electrical devices.

* Follow inspection protocols as prescribed in applicable quality procedures.

* Be proficient in performance of concurring inspection demands using skill and judgment to take assigned work to completion.

* Read and interpret production prints, and other written instructions necessary to perform assigned work.

* Perform several different inspection operations requiring skill, judgment and/or interpretation,

* Be able to make setups or adjustments on various standard gauges or equipment.

* Record routine data and count parts as directed.

* Train other inspectors as required.

* Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.

* Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix, and required certifications.

Your Qualifications

* Education: Grade 12 diploma

* Experience: Demonstrated competency at Inspector level or mechanical aptitude and /or related quality experience.

* Skills: Knowledge of FAG quality systems/policies
