**Position Overview:**

This position assembles rollers onto roller shafts and performs light assembly of conveyor components onto conveyor frame. This is an entry level position that requires the basic knowledge of assembly techniques in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

**Job Description:**

* 100% - Roller Assembly - assembly rollers onto roller shafts, place pulleys, sleeves.

* Check sizes according to print specifications.

* Prints - read prints and ABMs for roller assembly and check for correct specifications.

* Train and assist in other departments as production needs require Roller shaft assembly, Pre-assembly, Fabrication, Plastic Molding, Electrical, and Shipping/Crating departments.

* Computer - Look up parts and check inventory.

* Other tasks as directed by Assembly Foreman, or Manufacturing Manager.

**Job Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Blue print reading

* Basic use of hand tools; hand drill; Metric and English ruler, pulley press, roller machine, computer, hammer, screwdriver, gauges, calculator, wrenches.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
