The Roofer performs all aspects of roofing involved in maintenance and construction. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the Roofer will perform all duties in a safe and professional manner. We are looking for someone to start in this temporary position as soon as possible with an estimated end date of August 16, 2024. Responsibilities: Maintenance and construction of slate, copper, tin, asphalt and build up roofs. Work with various machines and hand tools common to the roofing trade. Prepare or work from sketches, plans and specs in accord with current building codes or accepted trade practices. Provide suitable assignments to helpers if assigned. The Roofer may require the ability to work alone at times. Use computers and/or electronic equipment to view work orders and keep records as needed.
