Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Residential Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction or roofing industry, with the ability to manage multiple residential projects efficiently. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet Farha Roofing's high standards of quality. Our ideal candidate would have Residential Roofing Sales Experience and project management experience, be able to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based company, and have a proven record of consistently meeting sales goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initial client meeting to project completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and material requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct on-site visits to communicate progress and address any client concerns.
- Manage client expectations by clearly explaining project timelines and potential challenges.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets Farha Roofing's quality standards and all industry regulations.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site, maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.
- Document and address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Team Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate with on-site crews, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings to align the team on project goals and responsibilities.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to team members to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor project expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
- Track and approve subcontractor invoices and material costs.
- Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns through proactive planning and negotiation with suppliers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential roofing or construction project management.
- Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and travel to project sites as needed.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Familiarity with roofing project management software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Missouri.
