Overview As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned rooms / suites, and report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain rooms / suites in compliance with standards. Specifically, this includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Clean rooms/ suites, as assigned, which includes: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and washing windows / tracks. Reports rooms as clean and available. Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards.
- Strip dirty linens / towels and remove used amenities from room/suite.
- Check maid cart for supplies, stock as needed.
- Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgement.
- Replenish linen and guest amenities.
- Clean balconies, if applicable.
- Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time requests).
- Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities and local attractions.
- Assist co-workers, as requested.
This is a full-time position, and you must have availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The shift for this role will start at 7:30am Monday-Friday and 8am on the weekends.
Qualifications - Prior housekeeping experience
- Prior luxury housekeeping experience, preferred
- Ability to pay attention to detail
