Hotel Polaris is seeking an exceptional Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team and play a vital role in shaping the success of Hotel Polaris, an instant icon on the hospitality landscape of Colorado Springs. Responsibilities:
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while having an impeccable eye for detail.
  • Ensure completion of all cleaning and organizational responsibilities.
  • Responsible for safety, cleanliness, sanitation, replenishment, and organization of guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping linen, storage closets, guest pantries, and public areas.
  • Utilize the freedom to go above and beyond and take initiative to resolve any service-related matters while creating guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure guests needs are being met.
  • Report to Housekeeping Supervisor and consistently communicate status of rooms to front desk.
  • Diligently work with cleaning agents and equipment used in guestrooms and public spaces while following specific housekeeping processes.
Qualifications:
  • High school or equivalent education preferred.
  • Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Experience at a comparable AAA Four Diamond/Four Star hotel and/or resort is highly desired.
  • Ability to understand and communicate fluently in English both verbally, and through legible writing.
  • Passion to go above and beyond, serve others, and do all things with excellence.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate any necessary office equipment that pertains to your department.
