Purpose: Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and stocking guest rooms to ensure Performance Hospitality's established quality and performance standards. Essential Function of Job:
  • Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
  • Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
  • Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trach.
  • Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
  • Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
  • Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of room.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; at least one (1) year of previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred. QualificationsWorking Conditions / Physical Demands / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA's): Command of the English language both written and verbal. Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to work beyond standard hours when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the guests' needs. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year hospitality experience.
