Room Attendant - Asheville - $15.50/hr.
PrideStaff is recruiting for Room Attendants for several hotels located in the Asheville area. This is great opportunity for someone that is friendly, professional, and energetic!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms including: making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting
- Restock and replace used items within guest rooms
- Communicate clean status of each room upon completion
- Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms
- Stock supply cart and ensure that it is neat and well organized at all times
- Check all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working order
- Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly manner
- Brings lost items to the attention of management
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a housekeeper a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated communication and customer service skills
- Must be capable of lifting, push, or pull up to 35 pounds
- Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending and pushing
- Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly
