Our Room Attendants, bring an elevated cleaning experience across every step of the guest room interaction; from entering the guest room to drop off luggage to making sure the guest has a clean crisp bed to relax in. They are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. Whether taking guest deliveries, special request, or sharing the highlights of the hotel amenities, the Room Attendants makes transactions feel like part of the experience. Job Duties
- Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, hallways, stairwells, closets, and housekeeping carts maintain cleanliness standards
- Effectively work with team members to accomplish assigned tasks each day
- Work in a safe manner to prevent injury to yourself, other staff members or our valued guests
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of maid closets, guest laundry areas and corridors
- Maintain inventory for linen closets and carts and ensure they are appropriately stocked for the next morning
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions
- Good oral communication skills
- Detail oriented as it pertains to accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work well with other people in a timely manner, according to standards
- Ability to use standard house cleaning equipment
