Success awaits motivated individuals who join our team.OverviewThe ideal candidate is an experienced, high-energy and empowered individual who will proactively provide constant support to the Housekeeping team.Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information.
  • Clean and service guest rooms, including but not limited to:
  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs
  • Empty wastepaper baskets and ashtrays
  • Transport dirty linen
  • Dust and polish surfaces and furniture
  • Replenish bathroom supplies
  • Ensure mini bar standards are upheld
  • Report any technical issues and maintenance needs.
  • Return and restocking cleaning cart at shift end.
  • Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times
  • Any other duties as assigned
Skills
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised.
  • Must be proactive in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving issues as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 1 year experience working in a housekeeping environment
  • Experience in a hotel is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.
  • Reliable and have a sense of urgency.
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Comply with Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
The Pay rate for this position is $29.40 to $37.87 per hour subject to IWA increases.
