The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, _The Roosevelt_ , is seeking a **_Rooms coordinator_** to join the Front OfficeTeam!

In this role, you will be responsible for trainingFront Office team members on the functions of Front Office. Assist in the duties of Front Office, providing leadership and instruction to Guest Service Agents and Front Office as a whole.
**What will I be doing?**
+ Book reservations, ensure that rooms are blocked in a timely fashion to best meet the needs and requests of individual guests, groups, and hotel departments.
+ Train/coach new Guest Service Agents on the function of OnQ, PBX, as well as policies and procedures of the Front Office.
+ Assist Front Office Leaders with job duties and take an active role in Front Desk operations.

+ Ability to maintain an alert, attentive, calm and reassuring tone of voice, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy activity.
+ Basic mathematical skills and considerableskillsin the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
