Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- The Rotating Equipment Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team to specify, design, and procure rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and agitators.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in equipment design and specifications.
- Review vendor proposals and technical documents to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for all rotating equipment to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections, assessments, and condition monitoring of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Continuously monitor equipment performance and efficiency, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Conduct engineering evaluations and studies to optimize equipment operation, energy consumption, and lifecycle costs.
- Ensure that all rotating equipment designs, installations, and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements
- The Rotating Equipment Engineer will have a BS or MS in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years working as a Rotating Equipment Engineer in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of rotating equipment principles, design, operation, and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools for equipment analysis, such as vibration analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI) governing rotating equipment design and maintenance.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
