Covenant Construction is seeking an experienced Rough Carpenter to assist in the construction and renovation of various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Frame walls, floors, and roofs, and install doors, windows, and cabinetry
- Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in the renovation of various projects as required
- Provide problem-solving solutions during the construction process
- Transport materials and tools to job sites as needed
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace them
