Responsibilities- Perform rough carpentry tasks, including framing, blocking, and installing temporary structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plastic, and fiberglass.
- Ensure projects comply with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and project managers.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of work performed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve carpentry issues as they arise.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to project managers.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Essential Skills- 2-3 years of commercial rough carpentry experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry systems, materials, tools, and methods.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Basic leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
