Texas Oncology is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Manager to join our team! This position will support the Pharmacy Department at our 2410 Round Rock Avenue #150 location in Round Rock, Texas. Tyical work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p with no weekends or major holidays!
Note from Hiring Manager: This is a rapidly growing site that just underwent a huge expansion. We have a brand new (HUGE) pharmacy, including a chemo room with 4 hoods and a non-chemo room with 2 hoods. The infusion room is growing to 100 chairs. There is a fantastic pharmacy team already in place, and a fun (but obviously fast-paced) work environment with physicians, nurses, and APPs.

What does the Pharmacy Manager do?
Oversees pharmacy operations to ensure pharmacy requirements are met. Oversees department job functions and ensures department operates within budget. Establishes and implements departmental policies and procedures. Initiates and follows quality assurance and safety policies and procedures. Consults with physicians and other clinicians to provide expertise on all pharmacy related issues. Analyzes and reports pharmacological and disease management information. Provides hematology/oncology clinical analysis expertise to physicians and clinical staff. Conducts pharmacoeconomic and outcomes research. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
