Job Title: Route Sales Driver - Full Time Location: Huntington, IN About the Position: All Star is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Route Salesman in the OE Wheel Market. The objective will be to grow and maintain sales in a designated region, along with develop sales strategies to meet sales targets. What You'll Be Doing:
- Build knowledge of the OE wheel refinishing process and promote product(s).
- Supply customers with wheel(s) in the timeframe indicated.
- Develop sales strategies, including cold calling & door to door selling.
- Follow up on sales leads.
- Build strong customer relationships while maintaining a positive attitude and providing optimal customer service.
- Taking purchase orders and collecting cash payments.
- Meet and maintain sales targets.
- Respond to customer feedback.
- Load and unload wheels into cargo van daily.
- Assist with mounting/dismounting tires as needed (we will train).
- Fill out appropriate paperwork for new orders.
- Maintain and keep sales vehicles clean.
- Follow company safety policies, procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong commitment to quality with a genuine care for the product and work.
- Professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and a commitment to working in a safe environment.
- Physical capability to access all areas of the facility, withstand activities like walking, and standing.
- Multi-tasking ability while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to lift 30 - 50 lbs. continuously, 60 lbs. on occasion.
- Valid Driver's license with proficient MVR.
- Operate delivery vehicle (cargo van).
- Availability to work extended business hours.
- Travel up to 130-mile radius daily.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Lift and move totes weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and above the head.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and able to access all areas of the building without limitations.
