ROV Pilot - Gulf of Mexico (competitive rate)
Job Summary:
The ROV Pilot supports ROV operations by assisting with maintenance, repair, and preparation of the ROV system under the guidance of the ROV Supervisor or Submersible Engineer. With training, they will pilot and navigate the ROV under supervision, record data, and observe operations as required. The role involves becoming knowledgeable in ROV control, navigation, and propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with ROV operations and maintenance as directed.
Help prepare and repair the ROV system before and after offshore operations.
Perform pre- and post-dive checks on the ROV.
Assist with the launch and recovery of the ROV.
Ensure safe and efficient ROV operations following procedures.
Complete necessary documentation related to operations.
Report safety concerns and non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications/Experience:
Valid IMCA (or equivalent) ROV Certificate for the area of work.
College-level qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Hydraulics Engineering, or equivalent.
Relevant industrial experience.
Ability to pass offshore medical requirements.
HUET/BOSIET offshore certification.

This role also requires contributing to a positive QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) culture, including reporting safety issues and following local QHSE practices.
