- The royalty compliance analyst will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and ensuring that Marquee's licensees are complying with their contractual obligations (i.e. selling within their distribution rights, reporting royalty revenue on time).
- Enter new contract and/or amendments terms into RoyaltyZone (Marquee's Brand Licensing Management software) and onboard new licensees by providing training on how to use RoyaltyZone.
- Communicate daily with licensees to provide support and guidance to submit accurate royalty revenue information into RoyaltyZone.
- This role will work closely with legal and brand management teams to resolve compliance-related issues and discrepancies with reporting. They will also be working closely with our Accounts Receivable team to ensure the correct amount to invoice the licensees.
- Assist in internal audit and investigations related to compliance issues. Document findings and collaborate with relevant departments to implement solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Proactively improve upon existing processes to increase compliance amongst our partners
- Reports directly to Vice President, FP&A

You're going to need this to carry out this job
- 2+ years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or audit role (retail or consumer good industry preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law or related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to clearly provide instructions to licensees and/or business partners within the organization to help maintain accurate revenue reporting
- Ability to analyze large data sets to check for accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word)
- Experience using a Brand Licensing Management software such as RoyaltyZone is a plus
- Experience with contract management and understanding of contractual language is essential
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
