Job Title: RPA Analyst I Division: Shared Services Reports To: VP of Technology FLSA Status: Full-Time; Exempt SUMMARY Responsible for identifying areas where Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can be utilized, documenting the process in detail, and utilizing software to build, test, deploy and monitor the solution. SCOPE This position has accountability for working with Subject Matter Experts (SME) across various functional areas to identify areas where RPA can be utilized, documenting the identified processes, building the automation using various automation methodologies (RPA software, macros, python, etc.), testing and debugging the automation, deploying and monitoring the solutions performance throughout the lifecycle. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL
- Partner with SMEs to identify areas for improvement in data integrity, processes, and company systems.
- Document operational processes and evaluate for automation.
- Analyze processes for business impact regarding time, cost, overhead, etc.
- Develop, test, deploy, and monitor automation workflows.
PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
- Identify current state processes by shadowing, puppeteering, or consulting with SMEs.
- Document and visualize processes by utilizing process mapping tools.
- Evaluate processes for areas of improvement and automation.
- Document the optimized/automation process.
- Review proposed optimizations/automations with SMEs.
AUTOMATION
- Develop automation workflows based on identified processes using tools like RPA software, macros, and various programming languages.
- Test and debug automation workflows using various testing techniques (i.e. Unit Testing, Acceptance Testing, etc.)
- Follow code review processes.
- Deploy automation workflows to functional areas and train end users.
- Monitor and maintain automation workflows to ensure uptime and document efficiencies.
ANALYTICS
- Analyze a process and identify the impact to the business, in the aspects of time, cost, etc.
- Create process analysis summaries for operational leaders to review.
Requirements MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in a technology based discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and basic queries
- Knowledge of simple programming logic (i.e. IF/Else and Try/Catch statements, Loops, etc.)
- Ability to document processes using process mapping software (i.e. draw.io, MS Visio, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to query SQL databases to obtain necessary data.
- Experience with python programming and deployment
- Experience with leveraging APIs
- Ability to actively listen, ask clarifying questions, and take clear notes.
- High attention to detail and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Possess an analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES •Demonstrated experience with RPA software (i.e. Automation Anywhere, UI Path, etc.). •Demonstrated experience with GITHUB. •Knowledge of web page frameworks and attributes.
