How you Will make a difference Perform all duties related to the timely and efficient posting of account receivables for Skilled Nursing Facilities in a central billing office (CBO) environment. Train department Stakeholders, as well as supervise, coordinate and perform centralized cash posting functions in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations while ensuring sustained financial integrity and fiscal guidance. Assist in developing training modules and ensuring uniformity in all cash posting functions. Verify and key insurance and resident payments in a timely and accurate manner. Balance posting entries to Daily Deposit in IHN (Integrated Health Network). Balance to Bank Summary Sheet daily, weekly and monthly. What you Need to make a Difference High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience in long term care and/or hospital billing experience and education. Knowledge and understanding of billing practices within the healthcare and long-term care industry. Must be current with industry regulations and compliance issues. Be able to operate Billing Software and demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
