Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to handle diverse patient needs, and a commitment to patient education and support. Duties
- Monitor and assess the respiratory status of patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing respiratory therapy.
- Experience with ventilator management and critical care preferred.
Requirements
- Active NH State RRT license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
