About The Position**Job Title:** Registered Respiratory Therapist**Job Specialty:** Registered Respiratory Therapist**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** NIGHT - 12HR: 7 PM - 7 AM, 36 hours per week**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified**Experience:** Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience**License:** New York state license**Certifications:** AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP**Must-Have:** Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility**Job Description:**- Provide respiratory care to patients in an acute care setting.- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluate patient progress.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures surrounding respiratory care.- Maintain accurate and timely medical records related to respiratory treatments.- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform advanced life-saving techniques when required.- Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain and improve skills.9475012EXPPLAT
