We believe in the power of people and the long-term competitive advantage that can be derived from helping our employees achieve their fullest potential.Who are we looking for?The RTM Operations Value Stream Leader is responsible for overall leadership of their assigned Production Value Stream across all shifts. The objective is achieving customer success for both internal and external customers of the Value Stream. This is to be accomplished by coordinating and aligning proper resources from the initial R&D ramp phase, production qualifications through achieving full production rate to create the most value for the customer while focusing on Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery and Cost. The Value Stream leader is responsible for directing work of both Value Stream employees as well as Value Stream aligned support resources.What you get to do!Start-up and Ramp Plan
- Responsibility for leadership planning & startup of the RTM operations
- Active hands on with R&D trials, production qualifications, production ramp of the RTM operations
Schedule & Capacity
- Understand current short-term needs, including startup and production ramp needs and timelines
- Provide feedback and input on the production schedule
- Work with upstream suppliers and downstream customers and build strong relationships
- Promote a disciplined execution of the production plan
- Have a long-term view, provide input on, and make decisions on capacity needs
Staffing
- Ensure proper staffing plan is in place for pre-production, production and production ramp activities
- Ensure all employees have clear daily work assignments
- Identify any staffing gaps and needs and work to fill
- Ensure VS employees are in the best positions for success for themselves and the VS customers
- Ensure coordination of aligned VS resources (QA, Eng, Scheduling, Maint, etc.) to proper areas of need
Continuous Improvement
- ID opportunities for improvement through department auditing (formal and informal)
- Apply lessons learned to prevent future problems from occurring
- Never get satisfied with status quo and ensure there is focus on everyday incremental improvement
- Support VS aligned resources as needed to ensure CI activity success

Administrative
- Ensure VS employees are following established standards and creation of standards when lacking
- Analyze job efficiencies for areas of improvement and address accordingly
- Attend and participate in various project and company meetings
- Properly manage Time and Attendance and support and HR related needs
- Conduct employee performance counseling and reviews
What you will bring to the Team
- Broad knowledge and experience within the composites industry, including the RTM process
- Prior leadership experience of 5+ years with successful demonstration of performance in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- A passion for developing and growing individuals as well as creating high performing teams. Excellent people skills!
- Experience with leading a new process startup, including new equipment installation, startup and commissioning as well as hiring and training of staff
- Ability to manage large projects, including task creation and management, problem identification and resolution, working with internal and external support resources and customers.
