Job Description Server Assistant / Food Runner We are looking for experienced Bartenders to join our team! The Quoin is an elevated Mediterranean wood-fired inspired restaurant located in The Quoin Hotel just off of N. Market St. in downtown Wilmington. It features a magnificent 115 seat dining room adorned with rich colors, plush banquettes and beautiful wood finishes. Server Assistant / Food Runner Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Servers in providing warm and efficient service to all guests
- Service tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence
- Adhere to established service standards and protocols
- Deliver orders timely and correctly, and perform table maintenance in an efficient and gracious manner
- Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure their satisfaction
- Assist servers in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
- Follow proper Manners protocol when interacting with any guest
- Come to work prepared with appropriate tools, laundered and pressed uniform, correct shoes, and a good attitude
- Strong, upbeat and positive personality
- Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment

Required Experience:
- Knowledge of both classic and current food and beverage trends
- Minimum 1-2 years of service experience in an upscale setting
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, move, carry 30 - 40 lb boxes / bins / trays
