The Associate in this role will work in a construction environment.This will be a long-term project with the potential of lasting 5-10 years in duration with working on/in multiple buildings onsite. This person will be primary Safety Rep for the subcontractor overseeing controls installation. Overview of Job Responsibilities
- Site safety observations, including documentation of findings
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis
- Represent the contractor in progress meetings
- Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law, the Owner, and contractors
- Conduct New Hire Orientations and safety meetings
- Provides incident management and support
- Documentation and Report preparation
- Conducts Contractor program reviews
- Oversee up to 20 employees
Requirements
- Three plus years of construction safety experience
- A degree in safety or related fields is preferred
- Previous experience with installation of controls/electrical/HVAC is a plus
- First-aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
- OSHA 30-hr Construction
