There is the potential to gain knowledge and experience in a variety of ways by exploring opportunities associated with your major and rotating through multiple departments.**What We Offer:**+ Competitive compensation, flexible dress code policy, and paid holidays+ Housing stipends for eligible students and a list of nearby housing options for relocation+ Access to our newly renovated fitness center, workout classes, and wellness program+ Event opportunities through our social and professional development co-op committees+ Our co-ops are a key talent pipeline for full-time employment opportunities after graduation at our many locations.**AS A SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CO-OP, YOU WILL:**+ Mentor and Coach other EHS leaders in the Velocity Environmental Health and Safety system.+ Acquire and manipulate data from the organization's global safety database system to understand problems and address them proactively.+ Update documents including policies, procedures, JSAs, etc.+ Prepare and present information to Regional EHS Leader for various projects.+ Help EHS Leaders with trend analysis by creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand and drive safety performance.+ Assist in identifying gaps and help create improvement strategies.+ Work with team to develop and drive KPI's to measure effectiveness of business decisions.+ Assist in the development of safety presentations and reports.**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:**+ Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Physical Sciences, Engineering or related field+ Ability to work 32-40 hours a week during the scheduled semester+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook+ Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:**+ Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Physical Sciences or Engineering+ Cumulative GPA of 2.75 GPA or higher+ Sophomore or higher class status+ Previous related co-op/intern experience in Safety (corporate or manufacturing environment) or customer service+ Reliable transportation- Sidney has multiple locations and recommend own transportation for commuting+ Experience with AutoCad, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Velocity EHS System**Our Commitment to Our People**Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
