Wage: $15/hour, 30 hours/weel Essential Qualifications and Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience working with middle school students * Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, administration, and parents * Ability to take direction and plan actions * Ability to supervise students in structured and unstructured situations * Possession of excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing * Knowledge of and adherence to all district requirements and Board of Education policies * Ability to meet deadlines Essential Functions and Representative Duties * Supervise hallways, restrooms, outdoor area around building * Supervise cafeteria and other areas before school and during lunch periods * Make recommendations regarding security issues to building principal * Inform counselors, parents, teachers, and school administrators of student behavior problems * Assist the administration with student searches, as requested * Assist with tardiness and attendance problems * Escort students to and from offices as needed * Control crowds as necessary including student arrival and dismissal times in and around building * Perform other duties as assigned
