Job SummaryNovant Health is seeking a Safety Assistant. The Safety Attendant provides one-on-one observation of selected patients for the purpose of identifying behaviors which are potentially hazardous to self or others in accordance with facility policies and procedures; reports needs and concerns to licensed nurse.CSSO Safety Attendants are responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The CSSO Safety Attendant is part of a market based, corporate float pool team that is assigned to varying units during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met within the assigned facility. These SAs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in all facilities within a defined market (Greater Charlotte (GCM) or Greater Winston Salem (GWSM)). Is knowledgeable regarding guidelines for infection control, body substance precautions, patient safety, and body mechanics. Maintains acceptable standards set by those guidelines.+ Ability to work with all age group patients or act as a companion.+ Basic computer skills for documentation.Job Opening ID35571
