Job DescriptionCompliance Manager Safety DepartmentFull-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:30pmCome and experience the difference with R+L CarriersEarn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employmentReporting to the Director of Safety - EHS Compliance, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining expertise of current and developing OSHA Standards; investigate work-related injuries; audit and prep OSHA 300A, 300 and 301 reports; develop and/or update written programs, policies and training to meet Federal and State OSHA Standards; conduct risk assessments; create new and update existing SOP's (Standard Operating procedures); administer in-person and virtual training as necessary; assist with Outside Agency Inspections/Investigations; ensure all facilities have a compliant CPR/First Aid/AED program in place; ensure Safety Data Sheet management program is compliant company-wide among other assigned managerial responsibilitiesJob Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience, Master's degree a plus.
- 5 years' experience as an OSH professional with knowledge of OSHA Regulations in General Industry, required
- 2-5 years OSHA Regulatory experience in Construction Industry, preferred
- Professional License or Certification (CSP, CIH, etc.) is preferred
- Advanced applied knowledge of health and safety programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, PIT, Fall Protection, Respirator Use, Confined space, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems, required. Advanced level Excel user preferred.
- Must be effective in both written and verbal communications with all levels of management and government agencies, required
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
- Proven ability to work in a confidential capacity, required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high level of accuracy and attention to detailed
