You'll help to ensure workplace safety by maintaining records, coordinating training, inspecting facilities, and upholding compliance. You're the go-to person for maintaining records, filing reports, and staying on top of industry regulations like OSHA/MIOSHA, DOT/M-DOT, EPA, and EGLE. Whether it's organizing certifications, managing training schedules, or preparing professional reports, you keep everything running smoothly.You'll spend time planning and coordinating a variety of safety trainings, such as CPR, Hurtman Rescue, boom truck and forklift operations, ensuring everyone stays certified and prepared. You utilize various tools to create presentations and streamline processes, keeping the team informed and aligned. Your role also involves inspecting facilities for safety hazards, managing PPE and uniforms, and supporting safety manual updates. You'll help with emergency planning and ensure compliance across the board. Every day, your work directly impacts the safety and success of the team.Who You AreYou're organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about workplace safety. A natural multitasker, you excel at coordinating training, managing records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Confident with technology, you're skilled at using databases, spreadsheets, and creating professional presentations. You understand industry regulations and have experience with OSHA and DOT record-keeping.With an Associate's Degree and at least two years in a utility or safety role-or equivalent experience-you bring hands-on knowledge of safety programs, PPE management, and operator evaluations.
