TITLE: Safety Coordinator A
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To follow all policies, rules, procedures, and responsibilities defined.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Good interpersonal skills
- Certificate related to Safety Coordinator
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate Personnel Injury Report.
- Generate Accident Investigation when needed.
- Conduct and maintain monthly inspections and records.
- Train and test all CFP employees according to the Annual Safety Training schedule.
- Attend IIP meetings as well as Safety Council Meetings for better awareness of site accident and to exchange ideas on how to improve safety.
- Handle all environmental issues pertaining to CFP.
- Maintain continuous audits on machinery for improvement.
- Implement the machine-guarding program by checking specific line features and their safeguarding.
- Answer to and follow up on recommendations made by our companies' insurance group.
- Conduct routine Safety & Health inspections in CFP.
- Issue Safety violations when necessary.
- Maintain MADS records.
- Team participation in ISO Audits.
- Keep plant safety rules updated.
- Issue flame, hot work and construction permits when necessary.
- Work closely with all CFP personnel to continue having a safe working atmosphere.
- Prepare & maintain Employee Training Records.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as determined by the Plant manager that would fall within the normal requirements of Safety Coordinator.
- Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
- All duties assigned by Plant Manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Inside and outside environments apply.
- Manufacturing environment.
- Ability t work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
- Subject to noise.
