If you're excited to be part of a winning team, We are looking for a recent grad who is energetic and ready experience many aspects of the safety field along with numerous aspects of the environmental field.Responsibilities for Safety Coordinator Create and implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed dailyWork with the Senior Environmental Health and Safety CoordinatorCreate and implement safety plans while ensuring that they are being followed dailyConduct safety observation reports on a regular basis, depending on the length of the projectAttend safety walks and inspections identify and analyze safety risksEducate employees on safety standards and expectations as well as safe machinery operationProvide recommendations for improving safety in the workplaceInvestigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accidentMaintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related eventsAct as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnelQualifications for Safety Coordinator Bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field may be preferredExperience with PowerPoint, Excel and auditor safety softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentationUnderstanding of federal, state and city safety requirements, including OSHAAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlinesInterpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and project managersLeadership skills, such as the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
