This role involves establishing and enforcing safety procedures, conducting regular training, and performing safety audits across company facilities. Responsibilities include:
- Training employees on effective safety habits and procedures.
- Monitoring, reporting, and correcting safety behaviors for employees and partners.
- Performing regular safety audits, updating safety programs, and conducting Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
- Developing compliance programs to meet regulatory standards and coordinating necessary training and certifications.
- Investigating accidents and near misses, determining root causes, and adjusting policies to prevent reoccurrences.
- Providing safety leadership in various aspects, including scaffolding design, material handling, and logistics, to support the companys commitment to safe, custom historic restoration services.
- Assisting with capital equipment needs, solving client issues within budget, and nurturing client relationships to maintain zero-damage standards.
Qualifications: B.S. in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent), OSHA certifications, bilingual, travel ability, and 5-10 years of safety leadership in construction or manufacturing.
