Job Requirements
1.Over 20 years of experience in safety work, with a preference for candidates familiar with the business processes of Chinese companies.
2.Must have more than 15 years of experience in mine safety management and be well-versed in various types of mining operations.
3.Over 10 years of experience in managing major risks and hazards in underground mines, open-pit mines, and mineral processing and smelting plants.
4.Knowledgeable in safety risk management techniques for various mining-related projects (e.g., underground mines, open-pit mines, tailings dams and smelters), with the ability to provide targeted engineering and technical solutions.
5.More than 10 years of work experience in mining countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, or South Africa.
6.Candidates who speak Chinese are preferred.
Job Descriptions
1.Safety Strategy Formulation and Implementation: Develop safety strategies and policies aligned with the group's safety management system for overseas enterprises, while enhancing communication and cooperation with the group headquarters and overseas enterprises to promote the implementation of international and localized safety standards abroad.
2.Risk Assessment and Management: Participate in identifying, assessing, guiding, and supervising potential safety risks in the mining operations of overseas enterprises. Regularly organize safety inspections and audits at overseas mining sites to ensure the implementation of safety requirements and measures by the group, business units, and overseas enterprises.
3.Safety Supervision: Oversee the management of major risk projects and hazard control initiatives in underground mines, open-pit mines, and mineral processing and smelting plants at overseas enterprises.
4.Accident Investigation and Reporting: Guide, coordinate, and assist overseas enterprises in conducting accident investigations following production safety incidents. Regularly communicate with relevant group departments regarding the current status of accident management in overseas enterprises.
5.Regulatory Compliance and Relationship Maintenance: Supervise the legal compliance and operational assessment of safety management at overseas enterprises. Assist and guide overseas enterprises in establishing harmonious communication with relevant regulatory agencies and communities.
6.Safety Culture and Leadership: Promote the establishment and maintenance of a positive safety culture in the international business unit and overseas enterprises through safety leadership and personal example. By understanding, visiting, and researching, develop a safety culture system tailored to the needs of Zijin Mining Group, and foster the implementation of this culture in overseas enterprises.
ntinuous Improvement and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement of the safety management system by learning from and adopting best practices in safety management. Optimize the current safety management system and promote the development of an effective international safety management model.
8.Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with other group departments, such as production, construction, and environmental protection, to improve the efficiency of safety management operations and ensure effective resource integration.
