About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Safety Director to lead and enhance safety operations across our terminals. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring compliance, managing claims and accidents, and fostering a safety-first culture within our operator-based fleet. You'll collaborate closely with drivers, maintenance teams, and legal partners to uphold and elevate our safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular terminal visits to evaluate and implement safety protocols.
• Oversee accident and claims management, including coordination with attorneys.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with vehicle maintenance standards.
• Build strong relationships with drivers to promote and sustain a culture of safety.
• Lead and motivate the safety team, ensuring consistent training and communication.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in safety management within the transportation or trucking industry.
• In-depth knowledge of trucking operations, including vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in accident investigation and claims management processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with drivers and teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to driving safety excellence.
