As the Safety Manager you will be asked to engage with all levels of the workforce to maintain and comply with regulatory standards of Federal, State, and Local agencies. A large part of your responsibilities will be in maintaining and advancing a safety-based culture within a large manufacturing operation.This position reports to the Director of Operations.Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Safety Management or related
- 3-5 years of Safety management within a manufacturing effort
- Solid knowledge of Safety and Regulatory Compliance to include OSHA
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with strong reporting capabilities
- Ability to engage a diverse workforce in establishing continued safety efforts.
