**Note: This role requires **Su**perb communication skills, fluent in Spanish both verbal and written. This position supports the Noblesville, IN location but is a boots on ground role working with the team & doing audits in the field.**

Member of the project management team providing a broad range of hands on support and services in all functional areas relating to Safety. Develop, administer, manage safety compliance and reporting to OSHA, DOT, EPA or owner/GC requirements ensuring tools, equipment, badging and training meet requirements. Continuously improve companys safety compliance developing new programs that include monitoring safety budgets, developing incentives to encourage new and innovative ideas, promote teamwork, good morale and a best in class safety throughout the company.

**More Specifically:**

* Manage the onboarding process, ensuring that all new hires join the company in a positive and consistent manner, including a comprehensive introduction to roof top safety as well as Tecta Safety Program.

* Administer, conduct or facilitate supervisory and field level safety training/ educational programs for all personnel to ensure safety training meets or exceeds OSHA and industry requirements. Continuously seek to improve health and safety orientations, documentation software and develop training material, etc.

* Conduct meetings with supervisors and employees to discuss such points as the standards, cited violations, lessons learned, and potential hazards and to resolve disputes regarding occupational safety issues internally or with GC/Owner representatives.

* Participate in pre-job planning (site walk, hazard investigation, SSSP, Safety equipment list, hand off meeting with foremen and crew), inspect/investigate safety equipment along with means and methods to provide best in class solutions to reduce employees' exposure to workplace hazards

* Schedule/track employees for GC/Owner safety orientation, track badging requirements, annual recertifications and attend owner meetings as required

* Ensure that field safety audits, JHAs and inspection items are being conducted each day and include required photos, conduct regular project safety inspections/audits on all active projects and submit all required documentation

* Review field safety audits for noted deficiencies and ensure mitigation methods, tools or equipment is provided.

+ Inspect facilities, safety equipment/harnesses/tools, machinery, and other equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety compliance. Inspect safety equipment and promptly tag items out of service if out of date or unsafe.

+ Investigate/report work related accidents and injuries to determine causes and preventive measures.

+ Safety liaison for Tecta National that would require some travel

+ Perform other related duties as assigned or required for OSHA compliance

+ Document customer pre-existing damage at sidewalks, yard, and building to eliminate responsibility for previous damage.

+ Provide assistance to workmans compensation case manager, get employees back to work providing light duty programs following medical restrictions.

* Bachelors degree or equivalent

* Knowledge of safety-related practices and procedures, safety technical subjects, including OSHA regulations

* Strong knowledge in the areas of Workers Compensation, OSHA, DOT, EPA

* Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages including Microsoft Office Suite

* **Superb communication skills, fluent in Spanish both verbal and written**

* Knowledge of business and management principles

* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet program, including strong analytical abilities

* Sound judgement and problem assessment providing problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions

* Well organized; Adept at planning work and managing time effectively

* Extreme attention to detail and high level of accuracy

* Able to work independently, strong initiative, integrity and adaptability, willingness to learn

* Able to work collectively providing teamwork and collaboration

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control

* Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety

* Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace

* Correct utilization of safety equipment and appropriate personal protective equipment
